Tom Rodwell

Experience
35 yrs in Advertising and 25yrs in Inner City cricket. Loves cricket and is determined to effect change in society. He is therefore a perfect advocate for the work of Cricket for Change. Tom is always at the forefront, promoting awareness of the charity to the corporate sector and the cricket authorities and forms a crucial link in the organisation reporting back to sponsors, trustees and other supporters.

Andy Dalby-Welsh
Director of Programmes
Experience
I arrived at Cricket for Change having finished a degree in Social Policy at the University of Sussex. I was introduced to Cricket for Change through his involvement with the England Blind Cricket Team. Initially I joined the charity working two days a week.
Andy is now a vital member of our full time staff and has an incredibly positive impact on the young people the charity works with.

Tony Joseph

Experience
Is another product of the Haringey Cricket College. He is probably our most experienced member of staff and has coached all around the world. Tony’s immense patience and good humour make him very popular with young people, teachers and other coaches who he inspires with his expertise.

Spent six months playing and coaching cricket in South Africa and managed to crash his sponsored car hours after being handed the keys. His cousin has been knighted by the queen for being one of the greatest cricketeters of all time. Can you guess who it is?
Sarah Crampton
Fundraising Manager

Following her geography degree at Sheffield University Sarah worked on fundraising testimonial events for cricket and rugby players before entering the world of marketing as an Event Manager for the Marketing Society. She has spent the last 5 years broadening her skills as a Marketing and Business Development Manager for two leading marketing agencies.
Sarah’s current role involves working closely with the team and trustees to develop the fundraising activities of C4C in its 30th Anniversary year and beyond.

Trying to be fit and healthy, eating out, producing and listening to dance music.

Dominic Cotton
Media and Corporate Relations
Experience
After starting his career in regional TV & radio, Dom spent 12 years at BBC Sport working as a producer, reporter and presenter. He covered a range of major sporting events including; The 2006 World Cup, Wimbledon Tennis and three England cricket tours.
Dom has since worked for several media & sports charities and has also set up a parents coaching programme to help families get active.

Running, Cycling, Cinema and mucking about with his three young sons.

Danny Baker

Been with the charity nearly 4 years having been a detached youth worker at Sutton County Council.

Adam Hall
Development Manager - North London
Experience
Played at Hackney cricket college from the age of 15 and joined the LCCA’s (now Cricket for Change) urban cricket project when I was 16 where I was mentored by Mikey (our Head Coach) for a few years. In 2009 I won the England and Wales Cricket Board and Sky Sports Young Coach of the Year Award for the East.
Following an awards night in Jan. 2010, Adam was annoucned national winner of the ECB Sky Sports Young Coach of the Year. Well Done Adam!

Beth Evans
Development Officer and Peer Leader Co-ordinator
Experience
I have been a cricket coach for 4 years and a coach at Cricket for Change for 2 of them. I play for Ashford Ladies CC and have been nominated as vice captain. I have also recently won the Surrey CCC award for “Young Coach of the Year” 2009. With her dance degree in tow, she is a much valued member of staff.

Donovan Miller

I am Level 3 cricket coach and have been coaching for 7 years. I also worked as a volunteer for Cricket for Change between 2003 and 2004.

Alex Bassan

Experience
I am the newest member of Cricket for Change and with over 500 hours of volunteering under my belt I went through the C4C Apprenticeship programme and I am now a full time member of staff. I now run 3 StreetChance projects and also as the Middlesex disability coach (alongside Mikey Thompson). I feel I am improving more and more each time I coach.
In 2009, Alex won a Young Leader Award for his work on the national cricket project, ‘Chance to Shine’.

Mikey Thompson
Head Coach
Is the ‘Godfather of inner city cricket’. A product of the Haringey Cricket College which was set up by Cricket for Change in the 1980s and former coach to the England Blind Cricket Team, Mikey has become an expert in all areas of our work and is renowned in the cricketing world as one of the game’s most experienced and innovative coaches.
Mikey has now joined The Courtney Walsh Foundation in Jamaica providing his wisdom and knowledge.
